Great place to stay. Super friendly people. Near famous Opera House that is really for plays. Just off of town square.
We enjoyed our stay. Exactly what you would expect from a historic old hotel. Lots of character. Staff was very nice. Ejoyed watching the rest of a football game in Tinkers the downstairs bar.
Great stay. It's like Grandmas house in the country. I found it to be charming and well appointed. A wardrobe in place of a closet! The king bed was old school fluffy luxury. Frigid air conditioning (It was 105 degrees outside). Staying at the Belmont was a pleasant experience and I'd gladly return.
Very nice, quiet, clean historical place. Staff were great as we're the amenities! Food was very good! Renee and Patty we're very helpful and the rest of the staff were so congenial and friendly. Everyone send red genuinely concerned that we were pleased and well taken care of. We decided to come back even before we didn't the night, it was that good!
Very disappointed in how the bridal party was treated here. We were told we may not used the quilts while staying at this establishment. Apparently they do not wash their quilts after each visit because we were told if we used them and they were dirty (food or makeup) that there would be an additional cleaning fee for this. This was directly from one of the owner’s mouths. Why are these not being laundered? We were all adults and acting very respectful so I’m not sure why she felt the need to be rude especially in the presence of the bride who was paying for the room there. The bride would have loved to use the dining area downstairs for her bridal brunch but has still not received a call back. This is all a shame because this is a convenient location for many different celebrations.
